"The Little Rascals of Death"

Films: The Brood (1979)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area/Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average children.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: They say that you need to look within to exorcise yourself of your insecurities. According to one therapist, that's all a bunch of malarkey, you should make them into reality! Don't do that.

History: Dr. Hal Raglan is a pioneer of psychoplamics. How does it work? You must simply embrace all of your negative emotions, and then they will become physical blemishes you can easily cure! It sounds...honestly counter-intuitive, especially when it gives one patient cancer. But a particular patient of note is the mentally ill Nola Carveth. Her new physical blemish is giving birth to several abnormal children, all representing her insanity and even bloodlust born out her own abuse. Anyone Nola resents is a target to these kids.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The Brood kill Raglan, but Nola is strangled to death, causing the children to die without her connection.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Should their mother be killed, they will lose the ability to function.

Scariness Factor: 4-These little terrors kill without restraint, but plenty of prejudice. That birthing scene in particular is guaranteed to scar you (did we mention this was a David Cronenberg film?).

Trivia: -Cronenberg was rather disgusted when censorship inevitably trimmed the violent climax in the U.K. Don't worry, there's an uncut version that was released in 2005.

-Most of the plot was inspired by Cronenberg's rather messy divorce and custody battle over his daughter. It...well, it really shows here.

I'd hate to see how South Park would have been reimagined with this mindset.

Do these abominations even hvae chromasomes?

The hand that rocks the organism.

"C'mon! Girls are allowed this time!"

Don't fear for them. Fear for YOU.

The people atop the stairs.

Using up all that power really did a number on your figure.

Worst surprise party ever.
